Hatchlings & Juveniles

2015 Breeding Season Update - We hatched out over 1000 babies in total for 2014 and expect to do about the same for 2015. This year the newer females are another year older and should perform even better than in the prior season. We have added many more males and females to the groups with a total around 300 breeders in all. Please look at each individual Morph Landing for updates and further 2015 breeding plans.

To the right I have posted a diverse group of our Leopard Gecko Hatclings and Juveniles available for sale. I can tell you if the they are Giant or Super Giants based on the genetics.

After 4 months Hatchlings are removed from this page and only available for viewing on thier particular Available Landing.

I will make a point of keeping a mixed selection of Hatchlings and juveniles posted here. Feel free to contact us with any questions you have about any of the postings. Note that we have several hundred growing out. If you have a specific morph you are interested in let me now and I will tell you what we have.

Check out the eyes on the Sunglow Background Picture. This is something we are trying to breed for. Hope to see some results next season. Check out Super Giant Sunglow SG204. He may be the only SG Sunglow with these eyes that we will offer this year.

Reserve a Hatchling for later delivery (Payment Plan): We have a program that allows you to select a Hatchling for future delivery after it grows out to a predetermined size or age. When you select a gecko for sale by clicking BUY or Hold,  you will be presented with the option to make payments. when you select this option you will be billed 20% of the purchase and shipping amounts and then monthly for 90 days you make equal payments of the amount divided by 3. Contact us for more information at info@embergecko.com. We will require a 20% deposit untill the predetermined delivery date or weight is reached. We will then collect the balance due and ship your Gecko.

First Ember Glow hatchling posted for 2015. This si the time of the year I post a few of our first hatchlings for a greatly reduced price. A great chance to get some real nice geckos for a great price. Expect some fast growth and color to come in  over the next month.

Size:  30 Grams as of 4/18/15.  He has to weigh 80 grams for male within the first 12 months of growth to be considered a Giant.  Possible Super Giant!

Color:  Ember Glows come in two versions, some have a patternless yellow body color fully grown with a mottled head pattern and others display a jungle or striped body pattern, we call these Ember glow XTreme’s.   Many Ember Glows display a small or large amount of orange at the base of the tail once fully grown, but not all. Ember Glows will display Red/Snake/Albino silver eyes with a  Red Veining.

Genetics:  Based on 100% Tremper Bloodlines. All of our original breeders we used to create this group were acquired from Ron Tremper.   Over 4 four years Embergecko produced the Ember Glow. The morph is a combo morph bred from select Embers and Tremper Sunglows. Main focus has been color, body pattern and size. The breeding group for the most part are all Super Giants and Giants.  Super Giant to giant = 50% Super giants and 50% Giants.  Note most of our Ember Glows will grow out to Giants or Super Giants assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Breeding:  Best to breed Ember Glows to Embers Glows  to produce Ember Glows.  One of the amazing things about this group is the diversity you can produce breeding them. You will see Embers , Patternless Ember Glows and Jungle/Striped Ember Glows. This group also produces a higher than normal amount of Reverse striped Ember Glows!

Special Marks: Red and Snake eyes!

However all of these hatchlings also displayed large amounts of lavender with high contrast color and bright Tangerine on the heads. We kept these siblings and then in 2013 created a larger group with the same Sunglow Pair. During this same period we bred back a select group of the female siblings to the original Sunglow Male and to another Tangerine Albino male from this test group. The results are what we are posting as Stone Washed Tangerine Albinos.  The breeding group for the most part are all Super Giants and Giants.  Super Giant to Giant = 50% Super Giants and 50% Giants.  Note most of our Stone Washed Tangerine Albinos will grow out to Giants or Super Giants assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Hatchlings display the typical banded traits of a normal sunglow, while juveniles and adults grow out totally patternless and bright Orange in color. Tail is a brighter Tangerine color. Eyes tend to show a brighter tangerine around the eyelids and the eyes themselves are Silver Albino with Red Veining. The eyes appear to be an orange color due to the reflection of the eyelids.

Genetics:  100% Tremper Bloodlines.   All of our original breeders we used to create this group were acquired from Ron Tremper. The breeding group for the most part are all  Super Giants and Giants.   Super Giant to Giant = 50% Super Giants,  and 50%  Giants .  Note most of our Sunglows will grow out to Giants and Super Giants assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Breeding:  Best to breed Sunglows to Sunglows to produce Sunglows.  Another good match would be to breed to Solar Flares or Extreme Emerines. OR use one of our Raptors to produce Sunglow Raptors. Projects anyone?

Special Marks: Orange Eyelids with Red Veined Albino Eyes!

Comments:  He will make a fine addition to any collection/breeding program you may be working on. Our sunglows are fine examples of their Morph type. Valuable Morph type!  Genetics are some of our largest and can produce males as big as 150 Grams in size!
