Hatchlings & Juveniles

2014 Breeding Season Update - We hatched out over 1000 babies in total for 2013 and expect to do about the same for 2014. This year the newer females are another year older and should perform even better than in the prior season. We have added many more males and females to the groups with a total around 300 breeders in all. Please look at each individual Morph Landing for updates and further 2014 breeding plans.

To the right I have posted a diverse group of our Leopard Gecko Hatclings and Juveniles available for sale. I can tell you if the they are Giant or Super Giants based on the genetics.

After 4 months Hatchlings are removed from this page and only available for viewing on thier particular Available Landing.

I will make a point of keeping a mixed selection of Hatchlings and juveniles posted here. Feel free to contact us with any questions you have about any of the postings. Note that we have several hundred growing out. If you have a specific morph you are interested in let me now and I will tell you what we have.

Check out the eyes on the Sunglow Background Picture. This is something we are trying to breed for. Hope to see some results next season. Check out Super Giant Sunglow SG204. He may be the only SG Sunglow with these eyes that we will offer this year.

Reserve a Hatchling for later delivery (Payment Plan): We have a program that allows you to select a Hatchling for future delivery after it grows out to a predetermined size or age. When you select a gecko for sale by clicking BUY or Hold,  you will be presented with the option to make payments. when you select this option you will be billed 20% of the purchase and shipping amounts and then monthly for 90 days you make equal payments of the amount divided by 3. Contact us for more information at info@embergecko.com. We will require a 20% deposit untill the predetermined delivery date or weight is reached. Red Veined Eyes. Beautiful.

Size:  50 Grams as of 12/4/14.  He has to weigh 80 gram for male within the first 12 months of growth to be considered a Giant.  Possible Super Giant!

Color:  Color varies from each Enigma to the next depending on the morph type used to create the Enigma. This gecko comes from breeding Embers with Sunglows. He does not display any of the physical Enigma syndrome and is very healthy. Most Enigma will display some sort of a spotted head pattern. Many will display gray banding on the tail. Keeping in mind most Enigma traits are shown in how the gecko acts and not how it looks. Please read our article on enigmas on Embergecko.com! Note that Enigma’s are one off geckos and not an actual morph type per say, even though many breeders would argue this point. We all have an opinion.

Genetics:  Based on 100% Tremper Bloodlines. All of our Enigmas tend to come from Tremper Albino morphs. For the most part that are derived from either Ember combo’s or Sunglow Combo morphs. The breeding group for the most part are all  Super Giants and Giants.   Super Giant to Giant = 50% Super Giants, and 50%  Giants .  Note most of our Enigmas will grow out to Giants and Super Giants assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Breeding: Breeding Enigmas takes some serious thought as breeding an Enigma to an Enigma usually produces an animal that display too much of the Enigma syndrome and may very well not be a viable animal. Please read our article on Embergecko.com on Enigmas. If you do choose to go ahead and breed your Enigma, make sure to breed your Enigma to a non-Enigma for best results. Are there some great Enigma projects, you bet! Choose wisely and be sure to track the Enigma genetics so as to not mix it with other breeding groups.

Special Marks: Red Veining in the eyes is common in our Enigmas!

Comments:  He will make a fine addition to any collection/breeding program you may be working on. Our Albino Enigmas are fine examples of their Morph type.

Size:  54 Grams as of 12/8/14.  He has to weigh 80 grams for male within the first 12 months of growth to be considered a Giant.  Possible Super Giant!

Color:  Stone Washed Tangerine Albino’s display a bright Tangerine body color with white and lavender body markings. Most are Jungle phase with some showing Stripes or bands.  Hatchlings  tend to be banded with color developing over the first 3 months of life. Eyes are Albino silver with Red veining. Tails tend to display bright orange with bright white base color.

Genetics:  Based on 100% Tremper Bloodlines. All of our original breeders we used to create this group were acquired from Ron Tremper. This project started in 2012 when a pair of my SG Sunglows produced 7 siblings that were not Sunglows, but Tangerine Albinos. However all of these hatchlings also displayed large amounts of lavender with high contrast color and bright Tangerine on the heads. We kept these siblings and then in 2013 created a larger group with the same Sunglow Pair. During this same period we bred back a select group of the female siblings to the original Sunglow Male and to another Tangerine Albino male from this test group. The results are what we are posting as Stone Washed Tangerine Albinos.  The breeding group for the most part are all Super Giants and Giants.  Super Giant to Giant = 50% Super Giants and 50% Giants.  Note most of our Stone Washed Tangerine Albinos will grow out to Giants or Super Giants assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Snake eyes

Size:  21 Grams as of 12/6/14.  He has to weigh 80 gram for male within the first 12 months of growth to be considered a Giant.  Possible Super Giant!

Color:  Raptor stands for Red Eyed, Albino, Patternless Tremper, Orange. The pure version of a Raptor is totally patternless with Red Eyes. Some have Red or Black Snake eyes. They are light orange in color and usually have an orange carrot tail on white. Some display a very small amount of a darker orange on the head.

Genetics:  Based on 100% Tremper Moose Bloodlines. All of our original breeders we used to create this group were acquired from Ron Tremper. The breeding group for the most part are all  Super Giants and Giants.   Super Giant to Giant = 50% Super Giants, and 50%  Giants .  Note most of our Raptor’s will grow out to Giants and Super Giants  assuming they are fed correctly and provided the correct vitamin supplements during the main growth phase of the first 12 to 18 months.

Breeding: Breed Tremper Raptor to Tremper Raptor for Tremper Raptor! Another great option is to breed to Sunglows to create your own version of Sunglow Raptors!

 Special Marks: Snake eyes!

Comments:   He will make a fine addition to any collection/breeding program you may be working on. Our Raptor’s are fine examples of their Morph type.  Our Raptors represent the best of Large Tremper Genetics!
